LOGAN KELLY

This piece marks my very first attempt at painting—a self-portrait created during my sophomore year using acrylics. As someone entirely new to painting at the time, I approached the work with curiosity, patience, and a desire to capture an honest image of myself. While the technique is early and imperfect, it reflects a moment of personal growth, where I learned to observe myself closely and translate my perspective of myself into color and form. This portrait stands not only as a visual representation, but also as an introduction to painting and to seeing myself through a new creative lens.
