This portrait is my most recent oil painting, created as an appreciation and thank-you gift for my physics teacher, Ms. Crowley. Beyond her brilliance in the classroom, she has been one of the most influential figures in my life, teaching not only physics, but also compassion, balance, and resilience. Her unwavering enthusiasm for the subject and her genuine care for students' mental well-being made her class unforgettable. Painting her was my way of showing deep appreciation for everything she's done.

Ms. Crowley is not only the smartest and funniest teacher I've had, but also by far one of my favorites, as she continues to serve as an inspiring role model I hope to emulate one day.
