LOGAN KELLY

Pumpkin is a study of an orange cat, inspired by a brief yet striking encounter with a street cat whose expression left a lasting impression on me. Titled Pumpkin for its warm, autumnal hues and round, expressive features, my work aims to capture the subtle intelligence and curiosity reflected in the animal's face. Although it was a study, this painting allowed me to focus on observing and translating character through expression and color. The process also offered me a moment of reflection on how fleeting interactions with animals can carry unexpected emotional weight.
