While watching Arcane, I found myself deeply drawn to the complexity of Viktor's character---his quiet strength, vulnerability, and inner conflict. Inspired by the moment, I painted this portrait of him using only burnt umber and titanium white, continuing my exploration of monochromatic oil work. However, the only color in the piece is found in Viktor's eyes, rendered in a faint yet striking yellow. This subtle choice was intentional: the eyes are the window to the soul, and by giving them life, I wanted to emphasize the humanity and depth within him, even in the most restrained, grayscale moments.
